A self-taught artist and maker, I fidget between beads, paint, stitches and yarn. My first love is portraiture but I also enjoy painting birds and wildlife in acrylics and mixed media. I like to combine realistic elements with layered brush strokes and line work, usually over abstract or bright backgrounds.
I am a self-confessed bead addict and I make jewellery with semi-precious stones, pearls, vintage beads and more. My pieces are often inspired by the colour, texture and shape of the beads themselves. I also have a healthy addiction to yarn and vintage fabric and enjoy crochet and stitching as my creative therapy.
I am based in Dorset, UK, but have my roots in the Caribbean.
